Field Contractor

Safernest Repairs is looking for skilled and reliable Field Contractors to join our team! We're committed to providing top-notch repair and maintenance services across our property portfolio, and we need experienced Handymen, Licensed Plumbers, and HVAC Technicians who share our dedication to quality workmanship, professionalism, and timely service.

What You'll Do:

As a Field Contractor, you'll be the face of Safernest Repairs, handling a variety of essential repair and maintenance tasks. Your responsibilities will include:

• Promptly responding to and resolving issues such as sewer blockages, water leaks, and broken fixtures (toilets, sinks, urinals, faucets) in common areas, private spaces, breakrooms, and conference rooms.
• Assisting our HVAC department with repairs on steam lines and condensate return lines.
• Installing and maintaining heating coils, sump pumps, water heaters, and recirculating pumps.
• Inspecting and maintaining plumbing fixtures and associated equipment, including water, sewer, gas, steam, and irrigation system pipes, fittings, valves, pumps, and appliances.
• Performing general support duties to prepare for maintenance and repairs.
• Cleaning and maintaining plumbing fixtures and equipment in accordance with local and International Plumbing and Gas Codes, ordinances, and Alabama Health Department Requirements.
• Repairing and replacing plumbing fixtures and associated equipment while adhering to all relevant codes and regulations.
• Installing new plumbing fixtures, lines, pipes, and associated equipment in municipal facilities, seamlessly integrating them with existing systems.

What We're Looking For:

• Education: High School diploma or G.E.D. or equivalent education.
• Licenses & Certifications:
  • Journeyman Plumber license (for Plumber roles)
  • Valid driver's license
